New Fish

This is why my kids got so many bandaids for Christmas.
Today was New Fish's well check.  New Fish went by the name Dr. Princess Ariel today and asked the pediatrician and nurse to address her as such.  She wore a gold gown, hot pink tights, our biggest featheriest hair accessory and red shoes to her appointment.  She didn't even cry when they have her a shot.  Her lower lip just quivered a little and her eyes filled with tears and then she asked if she could have her sticker.  A princess sticker cures many things.  She is 24.5 lbs (10th percentile) and 34.6 inches tall (40th percentile.)  She has gained two pounds and grown four inches since her last appointment.

She has recently started counting and she knows all of her shapes.  She picks up a lot from her older sister.  She also knows many of her letters.  She is wonderfully imaginative and loves to play make believe, baby dolls and house.  She begs for art projects.  She loves to copy her sister and do puzzles and she has played many rounds of Candy Land lately.  She is princess obsessed and wears a ballgown and crown a lot of the time.  She talks A LOT and says the funniest things to me.  Yesterday when I was playing with her she told me "Mommy you growling all wrong.  You sound like puma and you spose a be a baby jaguar."  Excuse me.  I'm off to work on my growling skills.

Also- we are going to try melatonin for the sleeping problems.  Fingers crossed it works!

Such a cute girl. Hutch laughed out loud when he saw the picture. Paige does the same thing with bandaids. Glad she's so fun and spunky and healthy and well. Good luck with sleep. You deserve a full night.
