New Fish took the net out of this little racket and has been carrying it around pretending it is the mirror from Beauty & The Beast. She holds it in front of her face and says "Show me the beast!" and then makes a scary face. Or she will say "Show me the princess" and make a pretty face. It's hilarious.
During the winter we have to keep a lot of art supplies on hand that the girls can use at the kitchen table, without me shadowing their every move. They use a lot of foam pieces and glitter glue. They have been using do a dot markers to make masks, crowns and all sorts of accessories.

They have also been drawing with oil pastels a lot. They leave a different mark than crayons and have more pigment. We also go through crayons like crazy.

glitter glue without supervision? You've trained them well. Mine start painting the walls with that stuff. I've banned it! GO GATORS!
