New Fish's Tummy

My little baby has been having some digestive issues for the past few months.  Her tummy troubles has been a little rough on her and the combination of two year old tantrums and tummy troubles has been rough on me.  She is such a sweetheart but she can throw a tantrum like nobody else, especially when she doesn't feel good.  Her pediatrician has been doing a lot of testing with no luck so far so we saw a pediatric G.I. specialist at our local children's hospital.  On Monday, New Fish went in for a colonoscopy and endoscopy with about 18 biopsies.  We checked in at about 6:30am and she went into surgery at 8:00am.  She was a perfect angel about it.  The nurse brought out a bunch of medical equipment (blood pressure cuff, stethoscope, IV bag, etc.) for New Fish to look at and hook up to a baby doll.  New Fish especially loved the blood pressure cuff and spent about 30 minutes pumping it up over and over.  It is so nice to go to a hospital where they really take care of the kids on every level.  They put her to sleep with strawberry scented gas and she didn't seem very sore after the procedures.   She never seemed scared or worried about being with the doctors or at the hospital so I consider it a success.  Hopefully, we will get some answers in a week and get New Fish on the road to feeling better!  I feel confident she has a great team working for her to get this all figured out.
