Fascinating



I completely believe this.  I'm just not sure what to do about it.  I can supplement at home but I can't integrate it into their educations.

I agree too but I think you can do things at home to compensate. Especially you--you're already doing it...

What Jane learned at Montessori and what she's learning at her charter school are night and day as far as creativity. I think one of the best things that helps foster creativity at home is music. Personal study and turning it on while doing activities and talking about it and taking kids to see it performed.

I think creating a culture of creativity in your home is a major factor in helping kids hold on to their creative selves. And you are already doing a wonderful job.
