Things have been rather chilly around here so we did our first wintery project. Oil pastel resists with blues, silver and white liquid watercolors. Then we sprinkled salt on them to create snowflakes.

Unknown said...: so... i've decided that your children are better artists than i am. what is it about becoming an adult that makes you think too much about what you are painting, taking a picture of, drawing... whatever it maybe that actually holds us back from being great? i love that you do this with your children. i wish i had the patience or that i could cure myself of anxiety enough to just let them do their thing. i applaud you. you never cease to amaze me in all you do. i hope one day to be half the mom you seem to be to your children.
