Moonstones & Elephant Seals

 After leaving our fabulous hosts, Arby, Muffy & Brows, we headed up the coast for a week of exploring.  Our first stop was the moonstone beach in Cambria.  It was significantly colder and foggier than Avila beach.  We hunted the beach for moonstones and watched the waves crash on the rocks.

 Next we stopped at the Elephant Seal beach just past Hearst castle.  It was amazing.  There are thousnads of these enormous creatures just flopped on the beach showering themselves in sand and barking at each other.  All four of us loved seeing them.  It was unlike anything we have seen before.
