We did some drip paintings inspired by pinkandgreenmama.blogspot.com She has a whole lesson based on them. We taped watercolor paper to some plastic lids, made big globs of tempera paint across the top and then sprayed them with water to make them drip. Red Fish really liked this. The spray bottle was a little tricky for New Fish.
We've also been doing a lot of just painting in the backyard. We haven't spent nearly enough time creating this summer. I feel like the whole summer has already flown by and we haven't had a chance to do very many of the activities I had planned. Hopefully after this week, life will slow down a little bit!

THAT is a way cute idea!
I think this could be a great, low-er mess project for the paint flingers in my house!
love this--a super fun outside activity for the summer! thanks for sharing over at the Week 4 Smart Summer Linky!
Love that rainbow mess! Looks like you ladies had a great time : )

It looks like you all had so much fun! I have entertained my kids for hours giving them each a spray bottle of water and a clothe and asking them to 'clean'... maybe I'll step it up and let them go for the paint!!!!
