Thanksgiving

We just returned from a memorable Thanksgiving weekend.  I think it will go down as one of my favorite holidays.  Every year I think that holidays with kids just can't get more fun.  My kids are at a different stage now where they are getting so independent.  They have so many ideas of what they want to do and they can figure out how to accomplish things on their own (or how to talk one of their aunts, uncles or grandparents into playing with them.)  The girls loved spending the whole weekend up at the lakehouse with my parents, grandmother, brothers and their cute families.  We spent the three days playing endless games, doing puzzles, reading and watching movies.  It was so relaxing and peaceful.  It was good for my soul and gave me a lot of time to reflect on how much I have to be grateful for.

Red Fish fixing Mimi's hair for her.
Red Fish has been rocking a sweat band almost everyday lately.  I'm not sure where this particular fashion came from.  I think the sweatband is out of my exercise stuff but I'm not sure how she found it or why she loves it so much.

My camera battery died so I didn't get the best pictures from dinner and a couple of people were hidden.  We missed our family who wasn't with us but we had a great time with family and good friends.
